Pinocchio: the name

Why Pinocchio? Because Pinocchio is a name that tells our story. Nicola, his father and Giorgia’s father are all carpenters. So what could develop from a family who has always worked wood? Nothing else but…Pinocchio!

We must also confess that Nicola’s dream has always been to create a wooden Pinocchio. Waiting on that day – it will surely come – we launched this ambitious conception.

Last but not least, Pinocchio is a name that reminds us all of our childhood and the games we used to play. Our special mission to welcome families of all sizes, couldn’t have brought us anywhere else but here.

So welcome little ones and adults too!

Chalet Pinocchio Famiglie con bambini

Wooden House, wooden furniture: we are Chalet Pinocchio!

We designed and created our building from zero; this is why we afforded to choose every single detail. First of all, we chose to trust Rubner Haus experience in building homes. Rubner is the most reliable producer of complete solutions for customized wood houses in Europe and market leader in Italy.

This is also an ecofriendly solution, as wood is the perfect material for thermal isolation. On the same hand, the furniture in each room is entirely made of wood… as don’t forget we are a family of carpenters… and all rooms are all enriched with nut wood floorings that come from a family nut tree property.

We know how much silence is important, especially when you want the little ones to fall asleep, so we opted for the best available acoustic isolation technologies.

For us being hospitable is something spontaneous!

For us, being hospitable is something spontaneous. Giorgia and Nicola come from different worlds but are both united by something intense: the idea of reception. To welcome newborn into the world is the profession of Giorgia, midwife; to project and build customized wooden furniture for hotels is Nicola’s job, our home’s “joiner”.

After the couple had their fifth child, things changed: the plan of building a Chalet on the backyard field, with spectacular views on the Vallagarina arose from Giorgia’s desire to stay nearer home and to spend more time with her children.
